Seguramente al correr o al practicar algún deporte has sufrido ese pinchazo constante en el costado llamado comúnmente como flato o dolor de caballo. Aquí te contamos sobre este dolor, por qué se genera y como prevenirlo.
Es un dolor intenso y punzante que se produce en el músculo que está entre el pecho y el abdomen llamado diafragma. Este dolor en muchas ocasiones podría ser tan intenso que nos obliga a pausar la actividad física que se está practicando.
Existen muchas teorías de porque se genera este dolor, algunos afirman que podría deberse por la falta de riego sanguíneo causado por un gran esfuerzo que concentra la sangre en otras partes del cuerpo dejando esta zona con menos riego sanguíneo. Aunque también se dice que aparece al rozarse constantemente el estómago con el peritoneo.
Está comprobado que el flato dura hasta que conseguimos relajarnos y volver al estado de reposo y con los siguientes tips lo lograrás de forma más óptima.
- Respira profundamente para que el diafragma se relaje.
- Túmbate boca abajo, coloca las manos a la altura del pecho y levanta el tronco con ayuda de las manos.
- Flexiona el troco hacia adelante y con la mano aprieta la zona de dolor.
- Bebe agua en pequeños tragos y parados.
Para prevenir este dolor debemos desayunar al menos dos horas antes de practicar cualquier ejercicio físico, debe ser ligero y con poca cantidad de grasas y fibra.
